We’re on the lookout for a Senior Account Director to join our growing team!
Ideal candidates will come from a creative agency background, with experience working with retail clients and loyalty campaigns.
As a Senior Account Director at Whippet, you’ll work in partnership with our clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of their brand, mission, and requirements, to deliver best-in-class service delivery. As the key point of contact, you will be hands on to ensure client's needs are met by successfully navigating complex projects to strict deadlines.
You’ll play a central, strategic role directing and building relationships with new and existing clients and be an ambassador for Whippet - representing the agency and our values in client boardrooms and industry events. You will be a keen problem-solver and direct creative, copy and strategic teams with succinct briefs, and motivate them to deliver above and beyond client expectations.

We work predominantly in retail, so it’s fast, but we love the variety and the pace! You’ll be working with some pretty amazing brands, alongside some pretty amazing people, so if you’re creative, passionate, motivated, collaborative, with an eye for detail, you’ll fit right in.
What to expect?
Day-to-day as an SAD at Whippet you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Proactively drive business and client activity through a broad scope of vision across their projects, offering expertise and direction
- Negotiate and scope costs with clients and ensure relevant resources are secured
- Accurately manage and forecast workload to ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget
- Prepare clear and succinct briefs for creative teams which are motivating and engaging
- Be hands on with managing projects for high profile retail clients
- Grow account revenue with new and existing clients and take a pro-active stance to identify opportunities
- Build and manage relationships with large clients based in the UK and overseas
- Be an ambassador for all things Whippet and our values
