About us
SideDish Media is a hospitality marketing agency. We run Google Ads, Meta advertising, local SEO, social media, content and websites for restaurants, bars and venues. Our clients measure us on bookings and covers, not on impressions.
We are ambitious but approachable. Small enough that you will shape how we work, established enough that you are not building from nothing.
The role
You will own the client side of the agency: the relationships, the retention, the quality of what goes out, and the development of the account management team.
You will not be a message-passer. You will be the person clients call when they have a decision to make, and the person our specialists come to when they need a call made.
This role is designed to become Head of Accounts, and then Head of Agency. We have been specific with ourselves about what each step depends on, and we will talk you through it at first interview. We would rather you held us to something concrete than trusted a vague promise.
What you will own
Client relationships and retention
- Lead the relationship on our most significant accounts, from monthly reviews through to annual strategy
- Own the retention number, and the reason behind every renewal and every loss
- Chair client reviews and strategy sessions
- Handle escalations, and handle them before they become escalations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
