THE ROLE

Boldspace is looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Account Director, Corporate PR to lead major client accounts and play a central role in the continued growth of our progressive, fast-growing agency.

This is a role for a corporate communications specialist with exceptional media relations expertise, strategic counsel experience and a strong understanding of reputation management in today’s fast-moving communications environment.

You will lead integrated corporate communications programmes for clients across multiple sectors, providing counsel to leadership teams, driving high-impact media engagement and delivering commercially successful client relationships.

Working closely with teams across strategy, creative, digital and analytics, you will help shape campaigns and communications programmes that build reputation, influence audiences and deliver measurable business impact.

REQUIREMENTS

The Senior Account Director will oversee a portfolio of corporate communications accounts and be responsible for client leadership, strategic direction, team management and account growth.

You will:

  • Act as the senior strategic advisor for client accounts, building trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Lead the development and delivery of corporate communications programmes, including reputation management, executive profiling, corporate positioning, announcements and issues management.
  • Drive high-quality media relations programmes across national, international, business and trade media.
  • Provide strategic counsel and communications guidance to clients on complex business and reputational issues.
  • Oversee account performance and ensure exceptional standards across all client work — always proactive, commercially focused and strategically impactful.
  • Lead and mentor teams of PR professionals, helping develop talent and maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Work collaboratively with specialists across creative, strategy, digital and analytics to deliver integrated communications campaigns.
  • Play a role in business development, including new business pitches, organic growth opportunities and senior networking.
  • Understand and manage the commercial realities of agency life, including profitability, forecasting, resourcing and scope management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
