Senior Account Director - Financial Services
Neos Networks offers alternative working arrangements that give employees some flexibility, including office, home, and hybrid working.
Base location: UK Wide (Field Based)
Working Pattern: Full time 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Excellent basic salary based on experience + car allowance + commission + performance related annual bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

What is the Role?
We are looking for a Senior Account Director with significant experience in selling connectivity solutions, to grow profitable revenue with a small base of existing financial institution customers as well as target and develop new customers using your extensive market experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate experience of delivering connectivity GTM strategies successfully to financial organisations.
- Demonstrate success in generating new business opportunities and acquiring enterprise-level customers within Financial Services.
- Have recent experience of selling Optical, Dark Fibre, and Ethernet solutions into financial institutions.
- Demonstrate experience of delivering connectivity GTM strategies successfully to financial organisations.
- Target, develop, and win profitable revenue with net new logo financial institutions.
- Work closely with Neos Product Development teams to create disruptive products and solutions to deliver your GTM strategy.
- Have experience in working across and influencing at C-level.
- Ensure all financial targets are achieved with focus on profitable revenue.

What other experience is desired?
- Collaborating with product management and marketing to ensure that the features, benefits, positioning, and pricing are thoroughly understood by target customers.
- Working with deal sizes can range from tens of thousands to multi-million pounds, and you will be expected to be comfortable working with customers across a broad spectrum of opportunities of various types.
- Be a confident and tenacious salesperson with a firm grasp on the UK Telecoms market, with business development experience in UK Financial markets and a knowledge of current trends, competitor positioning, market dynamics, and developments.
- Knowledge and understanding of financial concepts, procurement behaviours, frameworks, and customer behaviours is essential.
- A good understanding of working within a large matrixed environment to deliver high value proposals and solutions to customers.
- Knowledge of strategic selling strategies such as: Miller Heiman, SPIN, TAS, Holden, or similar would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
- Ultimate responsibility for the delivery of all personal KPIs and targets.
- Ultimate responsibility for customer NPS performance.
- Full understanding of Neos Networks’ go-to-market propositions, creating tailored value propositions for customers and prospects.
- Developing clear pursuit and/or account plans to meet the growth objectives (with relevant stakeholder engagement across Marketing, Operations, Delivery, Commercial, and Sales Management).
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable track record of Strategic Selling/Business Development/Account Management.
- Ability to influence at both day-to-day/operational and C-Level.
- Build effective cross-functional working relationships.
- Drive and define timescales and influence client decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and professional.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Good understanding of telecoms infrastructure market.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- IT literate – MS Office, CRM, GIS, etc.
