Senior Account Director / Senior Producer
Salary: Circa £60,000 – £70,000 (plus bonus scheme)
Location: Hampshire/1-2 days in the office per week
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Director / Senior Producer to take ownership of a key client account, providing strategic leadership across client management, project delivery, and account growth.
This role requires an individual who can operate effectively at both a strategic and operational level, providing senior client counsel while maintaining direct oversight of production quality, budgets, and delivery standards. The successful candidate will lead the planning and execution of high-profile corporate events and experiences, including a large-scale EMEA flagship roadshow, while building strong, long-term client relationships built on trust, consistency, and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership
- Own the day-to-day leadership of the client account, ensuring work is delivered with confidence, consistency, and commercial awareness
- Act as a trusted advisor to the client, translating business objectives into clear briefs, actionable plans, and well-managed delivery
- Provide senior-level client counsel, managing expectations and building long-term trust through clear, reliable communication
Production & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end production across briefs and live projects, including concept development, planning, run-of-show, staging, AV, content, logistics, and client approvals
- Oversee on-site and live delivery teams, ensuring effective real-time problem resolution and consistent delivery standards
- Direct and support cross-functional teams, including producers, coordinators, suppliers, and freelance or contract staff

Account Growth & Commercial Management
- Proactively identify and develop account growth opportunities, converting client needs and feedback into clear recommendations and proposals
- Identify opportunities to enhance account value, including supplier strategy, venue selection, process efficiencies, and cost optimisation
- Manage project and account budgets in full, including forecasting, reconciliation, and resource allocation
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, agencies, freelancers, and production partners
Continuous Improvement
- Use post-project analysis, client feedback, and performance reporting to inform ongoing improvements to delivery and account strategy
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, technology, and evolving client expectations, bringing relevant insight to the account
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 8 years' experience in account management, production, or corporate events, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead production capacity
- Demonstrated success managing complex client accounts, multi-stakeholder briefs, and high-quality live, corporate, or brand experience projects, ideally within the tech space
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to advise senior stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
- Comprehensive understanding of production disciplines, including planning, run-of-show, AV/staging, content coordination, vendor management, and budgeting
- Commercially minded, with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to proposals and scope expansion
- Strong budget management, forecasting, negotiation, and supplier management capabilities
- Ability to remain composed under pressure, manage shifting priorities, and provide reassurance to clients as required
- Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills across internal teams, external partners, and freelance personnel
- Strong organisational capability, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel (approximately 60% during peak delivery periods) and to work flexible hours as required by live project schedules
- A proactive, innovative mindset, with genuine interest in emerging industry technology

Desirable
- Familiarity with event technology platforms, including registration systems, AV automation, and CRM or marketing integrations
- Prior experience in an agency or in-house corporate events environment
- Experience developing strategic account plans, client recommendations, and growth proposals
