Oxygen 8 Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a growing medical communications agency to find a Senior Account Executive for their medical education team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an account handler or project manager who already knows the med-ed world and is ready for more responsibility, more client contact, and a clear route to Account Manager. The opportunity
You'll join a collaborative, supportive team working on a varied portfolio of medical education programmes for pharma clients. No two weeks look the same: one day you could be planning an advisory board, the next you're on-site at a congress or helping shape educational content that makes a real difference to how healthcare professionals treat their patients. You'll be trusted with genuine ownership from day one, working closely with senior colleagues who are invested in your development and keen to see you grow.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading day-to-day delivery of med-ed programmes, including advisory boards, symposia, congress activity, meetings, and educational materials
- Becoming a trusted go-to contact for pharma clients, building strong relationships, and anticipating their needs
- Keeping projects on track and on budget, managing timelines, resources, and approvals
- Working alongside talented medical writers, creative, and events teams to deliver high-quality work
- Supporting account leads with planning, reporting, budgets, and identifying opportunities to grow the business
- Helping guide and support more junior team members as you develop your own leadership skills
What you'll bring:
- Account handling or project management experience within a med comms agency
- Hands-on experience in medical education
- Strong organisation, with the ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
- A calm, proactive approach when things get busy
- Confidence building relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Knowledge of the ABPI Code (or equivalent) is a bonus
