Senior Account Executive, Medical Education

A well-established, independent-minded healthcare communications agency is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join its medical education team - a genuinely exciting growth opportunity in an agency people love working for.
This role sits right at the engine room of the agency's client work, and you'll be joining a business that's serious about developing talent: this hire is earmarked as someone who can progress to Account Manager within the next year or so.
About the role
You'll take ownership of the planning and delivery of your own projects, while supporting your team on larger, more complex programmes. Day to day, you'll be:
- Building and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Acting as a key agency contact for clients, communicating confidently via email and face-to-face
- Developing and critiquing briefs, presentations, and copy in line with project objectives
- Managing suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and to spec
- Leading straightforward KOL briefings and communications
- Supporting accurate estimates, reconciliations, and invoicing
- Producing clear, timely summaries of client calls and status reports
- Building your understanding of brand and medical education strategy, and contributing to tactical planning
- Supporting newer team members, including buddying or helping with induction

About you
You're likely to be already working as an Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, or Project Manager within a medical education or med comms agency, and you're ready for a role with more ownership and a clear path to the next level. You'll be:

- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts
- A confident communicator, equally at home with clients and internal teams
- Detail-oriented, particularly when it comes to budgets, timelines, and reporting

- Genuinely interested in medical education and healthcare communications
Working arrangements
This role offers flexible working, with an expectation of two days a week in the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays), and a strong, comprehensive benefits package.
