An award-winning global communications agency is hiring a Senior Account Executive to join their Basingstoke team and work with a diverse portfolio of enterprise technology clients.

You'll act as a reliable right hand to the Account Managers, taking greater ownership of programme delivery and bridging execution with strategic oversight. It's a role that combines hands-on content, media and campaign work with regular client contact and the chance to mentor junior team members, supported by an established team of communications professionals working across global markets.

Role: Senior Account Executive

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire. Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office initially, reducing to 2 after probation. Everyone-in Monday, WFH Friday

What you'll be doing:

  • Take greater ownership of programme delivery, bridging execution with strategic oversight
  • Lead elements of client communication and project coordination
  • Maintain regular, proactive contact with clients and respond in a timely way
  • Prepare for and contribute meaningfully to calls and meetings as both participant and host
  • Produce a range of high-quality content including press releases, case studies, articles, statements and blogs
  • Build targeted media lists informed by journalist preferences and content needs
  • Deliver well-researched pitches with strong conversion rates and regular coverage
  • Deliver client-ready reporting that highlights value and lands on deadline
  • Mentor junior team members while keeping a strong focus on quality and results
  • Ensure any costs are necessary, approved, good value and tracked

What you'll need:

  • Prior agency-side PR or communications experience at Account Executive level or equivalent
  • High standards of written and verbal communication
  • Reliable, accountable and deadline-driven, with proactive execution
  • Solid understanding of relevant media and influencer landscapes
  • Ability to get under the skin of client businesses and markets to inform high-quality work
  • A degree in a relevant field such as PR, Communications, English, History or a similar humanities or arts subject
  • A positive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in contributing to processes and client service

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with enterprise technology, B2B tech or similarly complex client sectors
  • Exposure to global comms programmes or working alongside international teams
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members

This role would suit an ambitious Account Executive ready to step up into a Senior AE remit, take real ownership of delivery, and grow within an established global PR business.
