The Opportunity

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth by introducing financial institutions and alternative investment firms to the AI-powered Managed Services Platform, cybersecurity solutions, cloud services, and managed IT offerings.

This is a true hunter role focused on developing new client relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and leading complex, consultative sales engagements from prospecting through contract execution. You'll collaborate closely with technical experts and solution architects to design tailored solutions that address each client's business and technology objectives.

  • Generate and close new business opportunities within financial services and alternative investment markets.
  • Prospect, qualify, and engage executive decision-makers through outbound outreach, referrals, networking, and inbound leads.
  • Own the entire sales lifecycle, from initial discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline while consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Develop trusted relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with technical teams to create customised AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed service solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and account activity within HubSpot CRM.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies impacting financial services.
  • Represent RFA at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings (up to 20% travel).
  • Complete sales reporting, forecasting, and administrative activities in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of successful enterprise sales experience selling managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology services.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring new logo accounts and consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Established network within financial services, alternative investments, hedge funds, private equity, or related markets.
  • Strong consultative and solution-selling skills with the ability to uncover business challenges and position strategic technology solutions.
  • Executive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Proven ability to build trust, negotiate effectively, and close high-value opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience using CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Experience selling into hedge funds, private equity firms, asset managers, family offices, or broader financial services organisations.
  • Knowledge of AI technologies, managed services, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or digital transformation initiatives.
