Summary Overview
Goal: Drive business growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across multiple sectors in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Mentor junior team members
- Attend networking events
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide the best solutions for clients
Location: London, with a hybrid work setup (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business across multiple sectors. You'll work to understand client needs and provide a tailored Trustpilot solution for them. Your goal will be to develop and close new business while providing excellent client service. You will have experience selling a solution and demonstrate a strong track record of success in previous sales roles. We are looking for a creative sales professional with a passion for driving results.
What You'll Be Doing
- Generate new business opportunities with prospective clients by targeting all verticals in the UK market
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and product demos to pricing, negotiation, and closing. Work with our sales development team to close a high percentage of new leads
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of relevant opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our product by working closely with our in-house training team, pre-sales, management, and your peers
- Mentor and support junior Account Executives
- Liaise with Customer Success to ensure a smooth and professional handover happens between Trustpilot and the client
- Attend events to network and create leads, generating interest in the Trustpilot platform
- Work with our marketing team to identify leads gathered from webinars and events
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience selling complex Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to senior decision makers is required
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- A passion for building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Familiarity with sales metrics and how to use them to plan for growth
- A desire to grow your skills whilst mentoring others
