Senior Account Executive

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive based in United Kingdom.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will drive strategic enterprise sales within the airline industry, helping customers adopt technology that supports a more sustainable future for aviation. You will own complex sales cycles from initial prospecting through contract signature, working directly with senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers. The role combines strategic account development, hands-on pipeline generation, enterprise negotiations, and long-term relationship building. You will work closely with founders and cross-functional teams across Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Implementation. This is a high-impact individual contributor position where your ability to navigate complex buying environments will directly influence business growth. You will also mentor junior commercial colleagues while remaining focused on creating opportunities and winning new business. The role is fully remote, international, and mission-driven, with regular travel to meet customers and attend industry events.

Accountabilities

  • Own the complete enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through negotiation and contract signature.
  • Develop and execute account-based sales strategies targeting airline customers and strategic accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across global airline markets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, industry networking, referrals, partnerships, conferences, and events.
  • Establish trusted relationships with executive and senior-level stakeholders and develop detailed stakeholder maps and engagement strategies.
  • Create and maintain strategic account plans aligned with customer needs, commercial objectives, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and enterprise procurement processes, including six- and seven-figure opportunities.
  • Independently manage opportunities through complex stakeholder environments while coordinating internal resources throughout the sales process.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Implementation, and leadership teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and effectively addressed.
  • Support seamless handovers from sales into implementation and customer success.
  • Act as a strong voice for customers and market insights internally, helping shape commercial and product priorities.
  • Mentor and coach junior sales colleagues and contribute to deal reviews, account planning, sales strategy, and continuous improvements to commercial processes.
  • Lead by example through strong pipeline generation, disciplined opportunity management, and enterprise sales execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
