Job Description

Role: Senior Account Executive

Reports to: Group Account Management Director

Location: Kings Cross, London

What You’ll Do

Client Service

As a Senior Account Executive in the Account Management department, you’ll have the chance to be part of a fast-moving, collaborative role where no two days look the same. You’ll help bring campaigns to life across programmatic and social media, turn data into compelling stories, and work with brilliant teams and clients to create ideas that make an impact. You’ll be involved in:

  • Deliver consistent, reliable and friendly service for all MiQ clients
  • Ensure campaign operations are seamless
  • Resolve client issues quickly and without fallout
  • Support on client entertainment

Campaign Management

  • Support programmatic and social media campaigns and integrated activations, collaborating with internal teams to bring creative, audience-first ideas to life
  • Project manage build of creative assets and other campaign setup requirements
  • Manage campaign setup
  • Monitor pacing and performance of campaigns and drive upweight of activity where appropriate
  • Manage, use creative ability to tell a story and deliver post campaign reporting and insights

Administrative Support

  • CRM (Salesforce) - IO management & understanding of Sales’ pipeline
  • Obtain PO details to enable smooth client billing
  • Reconciliation of bookings

Technical Support

  • Implement tracking pixels.
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues as they arise.
  • Good understanding of DSPs and social platforms.
  • Good understanding of pixels and tag-management systems.

Commercial Mindset

  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities through a strategic, data-driven approach.
  • Begin developing an understanding of how to grow accounts by building strong client relationships through regular hotdesking and client meetings.

What You’ll Bring

  • Client facing and customer service experience
  • Minimum 3 years in an advertising/media agency or owner (or similar)
  • Account Management / Client Services/ Sales Support / Ad-Ops background
  • Knowledge of the programmatic/social media space
  • Curiosity about the wider digital ecosystem and a desire to build product knowledge across display, video, audio, CTV, DOOH and YouTube
  • Strategic thinking: the ability to connect client objectives, campaign performance, audience insights and industry trends to shape smart recommendations
  • Commercial curiosity and confidence to spot opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and growing client relationships
  • An instinct for turning data into clear, compelling stories and proactively bringing fresh ideas, tests and solutions to clients
