About givestar
givestar is building the next generation of charitable giving. Our platform is designed to make fundraising more social, engaging and rewarding for the people raising money, the charities they support, and the events that bring them together.
While many of the world's established fundraising platforms were built more than two decades ago, givestar was created around how people use technology today: mobile-first, connected and community-driven.
And we're well beyond the idea stage.
givestar has already helped raise around $70m for charity, built a community of approximately 750,000 users, and works with major charities and fundraising events. With around 10,000 new users joining each week, the foundations are in place for the next stage of growth.
Following a $12m Series A, we're now moving from startup to scale-up. We're investing across our leadership, product, engineering and commercial teams, while accelerating our expansion into the US.
About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to look after some of givestar's largest and most complex charity relationships.
You'll own the commercial performance of your portfolio and build strong relationships with senior charity stakeholders, getting to know their organisations, what they're trying to achieve and how givestar can best support them.
This is a senior role within the Account Management team. Alongside managing your own portfolio, you'll bring your experience and judgement to the wider team and help us improve how we manage and grow our charity partnerships.
What you'll be doing
Strategic portfolio ownership
- Own a portfolio of givestar's largest and most complex charity accounts.
- Be the main senior relationship for those accounts and take responsibility for their ongoing success.
- Lead activation for major accounts from handover through to first value, working closely with the relevant new business colleague.
- Understand each charity's objectives, fundraising plans, opportunities and risks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
