About the Opportunity
We are partnering with an innovative AI-driven biotechnology company that is transforming how new medicines are discovered. By combining advanced artificial intelligence with cutting-edge biological research, the business enables pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations to dramatically accelerate early-stage drug discovery through scalable computational approaches.
Following strong commercial growth and increasing demand from global pharmaceutical partners, the company is looking to hire a Senior Account Executive to lead enterprise sales across the UK and Europe.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of AI and life sciences, working directly with senior leadership to help shape commercial strategy while building relationships with some of the world's leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
The Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities with enterprise pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers. You will own the complete sales process from initial outreach through to contract negotiation and close, developing long-term strategic relationships with scientific and commercial stakeholders.
This role requires someone who thrives in complex enterprise sales environments and enjoys working with innovative technologies that are reshaping the future of drug discovery.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through to contract execution.
- Identify, qualify and win new pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of strategic enterprise opportunities.
- Build relationships across multiple stakeholders including R&D, computational biology, data science, procurement, and executive leadership.
- Understand customer challenges and position AI-driven scientific software solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations involving multiple decision makers.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Scientific, Customer Success, and Leadership teams to ensure successful customer engagement.
- Represent the business at industry conferences, networking events, and customer meetings.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategy, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Accurately manage pipeline forecasting and CRM activity.
About You
- Proven success in an Enterprise Account Executive or Senior Account Executive role.
- Consistent track record of exceeding new business revenue targets.
- Experience selling complex B2B SaaS, AI platforms, scientific software, or enterprise technology solutions.
- Previous experience selling into pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences organisations is highly desirable.
- Comfortable managing enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long procurement processes.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and commercial closing skills.
- Able to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, hunter mentality, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience working within a high-growth technology company or start-up environment is advantageous.
- Passion for innovation within AI, biotechnology, and drug discovery.
