Senior Account Executive - B2B Financial Services / Fintech PR
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
Location: Hybrid (Central London, 2 days a week)
The Company
We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join the growing B2B team at an award-winning London PR agency, working across a varied portfolio of clients spanning financial services, fintech, technology, and other fast-growth B2B sectors.
The agency has a strong reputation for delivering intelligent and creative B2B campaigns, combining media relations with thought leadership, reactive commentary, newsjacking, and issues-led campaigns designed to get clients into the conversations that matter.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Senior Account Executive, or someone operating at an equivalent level, who already has a solid grounding in B2B financial services or fintech PR and wants to continue building that specialism while gaining exposure to a broader mix of technology-led and emerging sectors.
The Role
You’ll be at the heart of day-to-day delivery across your client portfolio, working closely with senior team members while taking genuine ownership of campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identifying media opportunities around breaking news, regulation, government announcements, and wider industry developments
- Pitching stories, commentary, and thought leadership to national business, financial services, fintech, and relevant trade media
- Drafting reactive commentary, bylined articles, opinion pieces, and media announcements
- Running proactive and reactive press office activity
- Developing strong relationships with journalists and continuing to build your media network
- Working closely with clients and becoming a trusted day-to-day contact
- Contributing creative ideas and identifying opportunities to take campaigns beyond traditional B2B PR
- Managing activity against campaign plans and KPIs

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
