Role Overview
Thyme is partnering with a high-growth technology business to hire a Senior Account Executive for a strategic enterprise sales role focused on the UK healthcare market.
You’ll own complex, high-value opportunities from initial engagement through to commercial close, working with senior stakeholders and navigating longer, multi-stage buying processes.
Salary: Up to £80,000 base
OTE: Approximately £120,000–£160,000
Working pattern: Hybrid and flexible
Required Qualifications:
We’re looking for an experienced enterprise software salesperson with a strong track record of selling directly into NHS organisations. You should have:
- Proven experience selling HealthTech, digital health or healthcare software directly into the NHS.
- Strong full-cycle new business sales experience, from prospecting through to close.
- Experience selling complex SaaS or software solutions with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles.
- Confidence engaging senior NHS stakeholders and navigating procurement, tenders and formal buying processes.
- A strong commercial track record, with clear understanding of your quota, attainment, deal sizes and sales cycles.
- Experience personally creating, progressing and closing opportunities rather than relying primarily on partners or wider bid teams.
- Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation and pipeline-management skills.
- Experience using a structured sales methodology

- Clinical or operational software
- Patient flow technology
- Healthcare data and analytics
- HR technology used within NHS organisations
- Enterprise digital health platforms
This role requires direct NHS software sales experience and is best suited to candidates currently operating in a hands-on Account Executive, Senior Account Executive, Business Development Manager or equivalent individual-contributor role.
