Senior Account Executive - EV-Charging - UK - Hybrid/London
Salary: £40,000-£58,000 + Package (including up to 35% Bonus Scheme)
About the company
Our client is an international provider of electric vehicle charging and energy management solutions, helping customers transition to cleaner energy through innovative technology.
The business is seeking a driven, results-oriented Senior Account Executive to grow its customer base and develop existing accounts. This role suits a proactive sales professional who enjoys prospecting, winning new business and building lasting customer relationships.
The role
You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities and generating leads to negotiating and closing deals. Working closely with sales, marketing and customer support, you will help customers find the right solutions while delivering against ambitious sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- New business development: Identify and pursue opportunities in the EV charging market, proactively generating leads and winning new customers.
- Account management: Build strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
- Lead generation and qualification: Manage inbound and outbound leads, using cold calling, networking and email outreach to build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Sales ownership: Manage the entire sales cycle, ensuring effective handovers to post-sales teams.
- Market insight: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and tailor customer proposals.
- Cross-team collaboration: Work with internal teams to deliver a smooth customer experience and support long-term account growth.

What you’ll bring
- Proven B2B sales or account executive experience, with a strong focus on prospecting and new business development.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English and excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and a strong focus on results.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritise effectively.
- An interest in electric vehicles, clean energy and helping customers adopt new technologies.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is preferred.
- Knowledge of EV charging solutions is advantageous but not essential.
