Account Executive - Defence - Cybersecurity

UK – Remote (Travel to customers, partners and industry events as required)
£90,000 – £110,000 basic + OTE

I’m working with a global cybersecurity technology vendor looking for an Account Executive focused on growing its presence across the UK Defence and IC.

This is not a role for someone looking to inherit a comfortable book of accounts.

We’re looking for an experienced cybersecurity sales professional who already understands the UK Defence ecosystem, has an established network across the market and knows how to create opportunities both directly and through Systems Integrators and strategic partners.

The opportunity:

  • You’ll take ownership of developing and growing a strategically important UK territory, selling advanced cybersecurity solutions into highly secure, mission-critical environments.
  • The technology addresses complex security challenges across areas including critical infrastructure, secure data transfer, isolated and highly secure networks, advanced threat prevention and IT/OT security.
  • You’ll work closely with customers and partners to identify high-value use cases, develop strategic accounts and take complex opportunities from initial engagement through technical evaluation, commercial negotiation and close.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
