Senior Account Executive – Automated Cybersecurity Validation

πŸ“ UK – Remote (Preference for Midlands / South)
πŸ’° Β£70,000 – Β£90,000 base | Uncapped OTE + Strong Accelerators

A rare opportunity to join the market leader in one of the fastest-growing areas of enterprise cybersecurity.

This is a hunter-first role with strong internal support, serious earning potential, and the backing of a well-funded business with real commercial momentum.

πŸ” The Business

A well-funded cybersecurity software business and the recognised market leader in its category. The platform does something genuinely different - automatically and safely simulating real-world cyberattacks against an organisation's own environment to identify what is actually exploitable, not just theoretically vulnerable.

It's a market that is growing fast, driven by increasing regulatory pressure and the rise of AI-powered threats. The business has a strong enterprise customer base, 90%+ retention, and every member of the UK team is currently over number.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right β€” and where to focus when applying.

🎯 The Role

Predomiantely new business. You'll be identifying, developing and closing new enterprise accounts across the UK, selling into large organisations in regulated sectors - financial services, legal and retail.

There's a strong consultative element - most enterprises understand the problem but haven't encountered a solution like this. You need to be comfortable educating as well as selling, and building conviction with senior security stakeholders from scratch.

πŸ” What We're Looking For

  • Proven new business track record in cybersecurity - VAR, managed services or vendor background all considered
  • Experience selling into large enterprise accounts in regulated sectors - financial services, legal, retail
  • Consultative and credible - comfortable running education-led sales cycles with CISOs and senior security leadership
  • A natural hunter - self-sufficient, resilient, and motivated by pipeline building and closing
  • Midlands or South UK location preferred, though the role is fully remote

πŸ’¬ Why This One Stands Out

  • Market leader in its category - genuine differentiation, not a me-too product
  • Whole UK team over number - proof the product sells and the opportunity is real
  • Strong accelerators on top of uncapped OTE - real upside for strong performers
  • Small, high-performing team with accessible senior leadership and a low-micromanagement culture
