Senior Account Executive
Location: London, UK
Salary: £33,000, dependant on experience
Working pattern: Four days per week in the office, with Fridays working from home
Meantime Communications is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join its team in London.
This is an ideal opportunity for an Account Executive looking to take the next step in their career and take real responsibility for client accounts and campaigns.
Meantime is a specialist B2B public relations consultancy working with businesses across the global logistics, supply chain, and tech industries.
You will work alongside experienced PR professionals on international client accounts, gaining experience across media relations, campaign delivery, events, and client management.
There will also be opportunities to attend client meetings, industry events, and other activities around the world as part of your role.
What you will do
- Support the day-to-day delivery of public relations campaigns for Meantime’s clients.
- Draft press releases, case studies, media pitches, campaign updates, and other content.
- Research stories, industry developments, and topics that can support client campaigns.
- Help maintain relationships with journalists, build media lists, carry out media outreach, and monitor coverage.
- Attend client meetings, help track actions and deadlines, and support the preparation of campaign reports.
- Work with the wider team to coordinate interviews, events, media opportunities, and other campaign activity.
- Keep up to date with developments in the media, public relations, and the industries in which Meantime’s clients operate.

What we are looking for
- Previous experience working as an Account Executive and looking to take the next step in your career.
- A clear and confident writer with strong attention to detail, and comfortable managing and prioritising your workload.
- Some experience of media relations and comfortable approaching journalists and pitching stories.
- Enjoy working as part of a team, keen to learn, and confident asking questions.
- An interest in news, the media, business, communications, or public relations is essential. Knowledge of the industry is not essential.
Learning and progression
Meantime places a great emphasis on training and development. All members of the team are enrolled as members of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and time is allocated for continued professional development each week. Regular training sessions and networking opportunities are also built into the team’s calendar throughout the year.

As your experience and confidence grow, you will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility across client accounts and campaigns, with a clear route towards more senior positions.
Working at Meantime
Our London office is close to Southwark station and Borough Market, with the team working together in the office four days per week and from home on Fridays.
