Purpose of the job
This role is to join a large healthcare client services team, supporting the Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Account Director, plus the wider client services team in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of international healthcare clients.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Quoting and owning medium complexity projects
- Running day-to-day contact with clients
- Working with internal HH Global teams responsible for running a broad spectrum of clients’ project requirements
- Working closely with the wider client services team owning projects
Your role will ensure projects are completed on time and on budget, to the highest quality, and managing administrative and organizational project work.
This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office (Basingstoke), client/vendor site(s), and home as necessary.

Key responsibilities
- Day-to-day client account and project management
- Ability to take client briefs and understand client feedback
- Be able to communicate that feedback clearly to various internal teams
- Work with creative and content studios to deliver client work
- Responsible, with the relevant Account Manager, for implementation of client projects and campaigns
- Managing budgets, Purchase Orders, and campaigns within time and budget
- Creating and maintaining contact reports and client liaison
- Develop and maintain excellent client and internal relationships
- Administration support to the account team on project management platform (Screen Dragon/Workfront), our Work in Progress reporting, and financial ordering system, Hub
- Identify key milestones for each project, having agreed them with client
- Liaising with in-house teams and external vendors
- Building timing schedules and working with colleagues to agree project plans aligned to those times
- Communicating changes to client and internally to HH Global teams
- Managing scope of work changes and informing client of any budget implications
- Ensuring project always remains in scope, on time, and within budget
- Maintaining regular and effective communication with management team
Knowledge, skills + experience
- Understanding of ABPI guidelines preferable but training can be given
- Client-focused with excellent client-facing skills
- Experience in a marketing or creative agency, ideally in a medical communications agency
- Adept at building great relationships, both internally and with clients
- A skilled problem solver with an eye for detail
- Passionate about branding, brand communications, and developing the best-in-class campaigns
- Good organizational, planning, and execution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including good listening skills
- Support our client team’s move from supplier to Trusted Advisor by building trust through honesty, transparency, and knowledge of our client’s product and therapy area
- Educated to degree standard preferably in life sciences / business / marketing
