Overview
Join Microsoft's Software & Digital Platforms team and work with some of the most innovative Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and technology companies across the UK & Ireland. In this role, you will partner with high-growth organizations to help them achieve their business goals through cloud, data, and AI solutions.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders, gaining a deep understanding of their priorities, challenges, and growth strategies. You will help customers accelerate their digital transformation journeys by connecting business needs with Microsoft solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
You will lead account strategy and execution, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate across Microsoft and partner teams to deliver value for customers. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
You will also work closely with senior decision-makers, developing business cases and solution strategies that support customer objectives while contributing to Microsoft's growth across the region.

Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with business and technology decision-makers to understand customer priorities and create long-term value.
- Develop and execute account strategies that align customer objectives with Microsoft solutions and services.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand existing engagements, and support revenue and consumption growth across assigned accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor by bringing industry insights, market trends, and innovative approaches to customer conversations.
- Lead cross-functional virtual teams and partner ecosystems to deliver customer outcomes and a seamless engagement experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to address customer challenges, remove blockers, and support successful adoption of solutions.
- Maintain a healthy business pipeline, manage account priorities, and contribute to forecasting and business planning activities.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in technology sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing commercial roles.
- Experience building relationships with business and technical decision-makers and managing complex customer engagements.
- Experience driving sales of Cloud and/or AI solutions.
Preferred
- Experience working with technology startups, scaleups, or rapidly growing digital businesses.
- Experience engaging with venture capital (VC), private equity (PE), or investment-backed organizations.
- Experience leading strategic customer conversations focused on business transformation, innovation, or cloud technologies.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and collaborating in a matrixed environment.

Pay Information
Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across United Kingdom is £ 95,300.00 - £ 136,100.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.

Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 92,300.00 - € 151,400.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
