Senior Account Executive
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to drive enterprise sales efforts across a defined territory. This region includes some of Aerospike’s most strategic customers and partners, and we are seeking a sales leader who can both expand existing relationships and secure new logo business.
This role requires a dynamic, tenacious, intelligent salesperson who can think on their feet and engage in a highly consultative manner with Development and Operations/IT teams within large enterprises. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for territory development, prospect qualification, proposing and closing sales opportunities for Aerospike products and services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, biased toward action, with prior experience selling database or infrastructure solutions into enterprise accounts, ideally with vertical expertise.
This is a direct sales role that requires regular face-to-face engagement with prospects and customers across the assigned North American territory.
Responsibilities
- Hunt to exceed target: Build focused territory and account plans, create net-new pipeline, and consistently convert whitespace into qualified, high-value opportunities.
- Sell outcomes, not technology: Translate Aerospike’s platform, differentiation, and customer proof into quantified business impact for Development leaders, architects, and technical teams.
- Build the network and multi-thread: Map buying committees, earn executive access, cultivate champions, and engage the full customer ecosystem from business sponsor to developer.
- Create and close bigger deals: Shape strategic opportunities, expand use cases, lead value-based negotiations, and drive complex deals to durable, multi-year outcomes.
- Execute with rigor: Qualify hard, maintain accurate Salesforce discipline, run mutual close plans, inspect deal health, forecast reliably, and never let next steps go unowned.
- Be the trusted advisor and force multiplier: Deliver compelling, industry-informed conversations; provide exceptional customer leadership; support events and communities; and share repeatable wins across the sales team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
