About us
SFG20 is the industry standard for building maintenance. Providing services and pioneering technologies that empower people to create and sustain safer buildings.
Our mission is to make buildings better using our standard, software and expertise. Our vision is to become the leading authority for built environment maintenance that protects and enhances quality of life.
About the role
We are on a rapid growth trajectory to become the undisputed champion of our industry - and we need high-performing partners to help us get there. As a Senior Account Executive within our Mid-Market team, you won't just be closing deals; you will be acting as a trusted consultant to businesses navigating complex challenges, leveraging a sophisticated SaaS solution to drive genuine value. If you thrive in a high-velocity environment where you have the autonomy to execute, a highly collaborative team backing you, and a product that consistently delivers, this is your opportunity to maximise your earning potential while shaping market expansion.
Location
While this role can be home-based, regular travel to our Manchester Spinningfields office will be required, along with additional travel for client meetings and events as needed.
Applicants should therefore be located within reasonable commuting distance of Manchester, ideally across the North West, West Yorkshire, or North Midlands regions.
Key outcomes (First 12 months)
Instead of measuring you on a generic daily task list, we focus on impact. Over your first year, your success will look like this:
- By Month 3: Fully onboarded on our solution, certified on our value proposition, and actively building a qualified pipeline through collaborative and independent prospecting.
- By Month 6: Consistently executing clean, consultative sales cycles from discovery to close, maintaining a predictable quarterly forecast.
- By Month 9: Embedding a deeply curious, coachable mindset to self-correct and refine your approach, tracking comfortably toward your £500k ARR target.
- By Month 12: Achieving or exceeding your £500k ARR milestone, establishing yourself as a core contributor to the Mid-Market team, and qualifying for our elite President’s Award incentives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
