Role Purpose

As a Senior Account Executive at Moneycorp, you’ll lead the acquisition of UK corporate clients with complex FX risk and international payment needs. This is a consultative, insight-driven sales role focused on mid-market and strategic opportunities, where you’ll own the full sales cycle, from origination and qualification through to closing and onboarding.

You’ll engage senior finance stakeholders (CFOs, Finance Directors, Treasurers) to deliver tailored FX and payment solutions that address treasury challenges and working capital priorities. Success in this role means combining deep market knowledge with commercial creativity, positioning Moneycorp as a trusted partner for businesses navigating global markets.

Working closely with Sales leadership, Business Development, Marketing, and Partnerships, you’ll contribute to strategic campaigns, support with sector expertise, and help shape go-to-market initiatives that drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver New Business Acquisition

  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified mid-market and strategic prospects.
  • Originate opportunities through targeted outreach, discovery, and consultative engagement.
  • Deliver tailored proposals that align with client-specific FX risk and payment objectives.
  • Drive consistent revenue generation and onboarding activity in line with monthly and annual targets.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to establish long-term, reciprocal relationships.

Sell Through Insight and Market Understanding

  • Apply advanced understanding of FX markets, macroeconomic trends, and treasury drivers.
  • Guide clients through risk management strategies and payment optimization solutions.
  • Share actionable insights to enhance credibility and influence decision-making.
  • Educate clients on structured products and practical applications to support their business goals.

Lead Activity and Pipeline Management

  • Maintain high outbound activity levels across calls, meetings, and sector-led campaigns.
  • Use CRM to track pipeline stages, revenue forecasts, and client engagement accurately.
  • Convert self-sourced opportunities while leveraging internal campaigns for maximum deal flow.

Coordinate Internal Execution and Client Onboarding

  • Manage compliance, credit, and onboarding processes to ensure timely account activation.
  • Prepare credit requests and navigate internal approvals for complex deals.
  • Build strong relationships with dealing and execution teams to support client trading.

Develop Sector Understanding and Commercial Skills

  • Deepen knowledge in priority sectors and treasury risk management.
  • Gain exposure to structured product logic, credit decisioning, and advanced hedging strategies.
  • Represent Moneycorp at targeted networking events and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success in corporate B2B new business FX and risk management roles including spot, forwards, and options – CF30 qualification highly desirable.
  • Track record of leading complex, consultative sales processes, engaging mid-senior finance decision-makers.
  • In-depth knowledge of FX risk management, hedging solutions, pricing structures, and international payment flows.
  • End-to-end sales experience, including origination, closing, and onboarding complex clients.
  • Experience developing, building, or owning a specialist industry vertical, market segment, or strategic client portfolio.
  • Exposure to credit or risk-based decision making in financial services.
  • Proficient use of Customer Relationship Management software (e.g., MS Dynamics, Salesforce).
