The Mid-Market Senior Account Executive

The Mid-Market Senior Account Executive wins complex new business and expansion opportunities by combining sharp commercial judgment, deep customer insight, and disciplined deal execution. This is a role for a competitive, self-starting seller who takes initiative, creates momentum, has a hunger to win and confidently leads multiple stakeholders toward measurable business outcomes. You’ll own the pursuit from strategy through negotiation moving with urgency while protecting long-term value.

What you’ll do:

  • Own your quota and compete to win by taking the initiative to build and execute a pipeline strategy across new business and existing customers
  • Lead discovery that uncovers customer needs, business impact, strategic priorities, urgency, and decision criteria
  • Apply strong commercial judgment based on multi-stakeholder alignment to qualify, prioritise, and advance the opportunities most likely to convert
  • Create and lead pursuit plans across stakeholders, timelines, competitive dynamics, and deal risks
  • Build stakeholder commitment by connecting NAVEX solutions to clear, measurable business outcomes
  • Take initiative to mobilise internal partners and customer stakeholders, remove obstacles, and maintain deal momentum
  • Lead strategic negotiations that navigate competing priorities while protecting value and strengthening the customer relationship
  • Deliver accurate forecasts through disciplined deal inspection, rigorous qualification, and consistent CRM hygiene

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of successful quota-carrying, full-cycle B2B sales experience; SaaS experience preferred
  • Experience selling to mid-market organizations (1000+ employees)
  • A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota and winning complex, competitive sales opportunities
  • Competitive drive, a hunger to win and a self-starter mindset you create opportunities, take initiative, and hold yourself accountable for results
  • Strong prospecting and pipeline-generation skills with a demonstrated hunter mindset, and the discipline and urgency to manage multiple concurrent, complex opportunities
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g. Sandler, Challenger or Miller Heiman) and qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC
  • Executive presence and the ability to lead compelling discovery, product demonstrations, and value-based presentations
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Sales Navigator)
  • Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
  • AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes
  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of sales strategy and process, product and industry knowledge (Sales), and persuasive sales engagement while leveraging NAVEX’s core values

  • On Target Earnings of 140,000 GBP per year. The starting pay for this role is 70,000 GBP annual and the target variable pay for this role is 70,000 GBP. Target variable pay is based on individual achievement factors and is not guaranteed.
