The Role: Senior Account Executive

Location: London

Your Responsibilities

Media Relations & Client Collaboration

  • Own key media relationships across consumer technology, lifestyle, and national press
  • Develop press contacts, nurture existing relationships, and expand reach
  • Write compelling press releases, media pitches, and campaign stories that resonate with journalists and clients
  • Maintain seamless client communication, acting as the main point of contact for Brands
  • Join weekly strategy calls and proactively update clients on activity and opportunities

Proactivity & Creative Problem-Solving

  • Spot media opportunities and cultural trends relevant to clients
  • Identify innovative ways to engage audiences and exceed client expectations
  • Stay ahead of media trends by following journalists, reading industry publications, and curating insights for the team
  • Collaborate with teammates and broader Axicom initiatives to support client success

Team & Account Management

  • Support account organisation, ensuring timely updates and proactive account leadership
  • Discern and act on client needs, balancing multiple projects with precision
  • Be an active team player, fostering collaboration and elevating internal culture

Experience & Skills We Value

✔ 2+ years of early-career PR experience, ideally in consumer lifestyle or technology ✔ Deep knowledge of the UK tech landscape and media ecosystem ✔ Proven track record of sell-ins, multi-client management, and relationship-building ✔ Strong writing skills—crafting high-impact press materials, pitches, and digital content ✔ Top-tier prioritisation with excellent time management under tight deadlines ✔ Passion for tech, gaming, and emerging innovations with an eye for trends and opportunities ✔ Ambition to create award-winning work—high initiative, integrity, and intelligence required
