Location: Hybrid: London office & home-based
Reports to: UK&I Managing Director
Experience: 7+ years in B2B technology or IT consulting sales, with a proven track record of self-generated new-logo wins, selling packaged, value-based offerings.
About the role
Future Processing has been building software and delivering technology consulting for over 26 years. Our UK business is backed by that scale and delivery capability, but it's still agile enough that one strong hire can genuinely shape how we go to market.
Our service portfolio and how we approach the market are changing, as we shift to more packaged, value-based service offerings. This role is built around a defined set of packaged technology offers across data, cloud, AI and modernisation, designed to open the door with a client and prove our value fast. It's a genuinely greenfield patch that is built for someone with a strong track record of winning net-new logos who wants the room to build a territory themselves.
What you'll be doing
- Build your own strategy and account plan against our target client profile: mid-market and larger organisations where technology is core to the business, or where cost, risk, compliance or operational debt is driving change.
- Generate your own pipeline – through your network, outbound prospecting and trigger-based research – rather than relying on inbound leads.
- Run discovery that starts with the client's problem: understand the trigger and build the business case around a specific service offering before proposing anything.
- Match the right packaged offer to that problem and close it quickly. These are defined, fixed-scope propositions built to prove value fast – not a bespoke solution built from scratch for every prospect.
- Own the deal end-to-end – discovery, business case, negotiation, contract – bringing in presales and technical experts to strengthen your pitch.
- Build the path from that first engagement into a bigger, ongoing partnership.
- Represent Future Processing at UK industry events and networking.
- Take ownership and accountability for forecasting and CRM hygiene tight so your numbers can be relied on.
- Feed what you learn in the market back into how we shape and price our offers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
- A genuine track record of winning new-logo clients from a standing start – most of it self-generated through your own network and outbound work, not inherited accounts, inbound leads, or a big brand name helping to open doors.
- Experience selling packaged or productised service offerings in IT – comfortable selling a defined proposition with a clear scope and price, not only open-ended day-rate work.
- Evidence you can move quickly with examples of building pipeline and landing early wins soon after starting somewhere new.
- A genuinely consultative approach with clients – you are able to identify the pain and the value at stake before pitching the right offer, not the other way round.
- Real commercial fluency – you can build and defend a business case tied to ROI, and you know your own numbers (quota attainment, average deal size, win rate, sales cycle) without having to think about it.
- Credibility with C-level and Director-level stakeholders, and comfortable being challenged on value rather than price.
- Experience in the data, cloud and AI ecosystem (GCP, Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) to hold a real conversation with technology leaders, without needing to be the one implementing it.
- The ability to build your own plan and start executing rather than waiting for a fully formed playbook or a stream of leads.
- Insurance / Insurtech or Media & Advertising experience is a particular advantage; energy, manufacturing, finance are also useful, though none are required for the right person.
- Someone that enjoys working as part of a close-knit team – somewhere colleagues genuinely get on, support each other, and like each other's company.
