Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 depending on experience
Holiday: 26 days’ holiday, plus bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday
Location: Hybrid. You’ll work from our Mirfield office at least two days per week

The Bigger Boat is an award-winning integrated marketing agency based in scenic Wheatley Park in Mirfield, close to Huddersfield and Leeds. The role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic senior account manager to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone with a minimum of three years’ account management experience who is organised, confident and prides themselves on client relations. As a senior account manager, you will work closely with the different departments in the business to deliver projects for varied clients professionally and to deadlines. The role requires strategic understanding, competence and strong attention to detail, as well as the confidence to be a client-facing communicator and work in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing
- Overseeing day-to-day communications for a number of clients
- Delivering strategic value and measurable bottom-line impact on accounts
- Preparing marketing plans based on client objectives
- Remaining in regular contact with clients to update them on progress, including meetings, calls, and presentations
- Managing client budgets – both time and financial
- Analysing data to prepare reports for clients to highlight results achieved and inform future strategy
- Mentoring junior members of the team
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of three years’ account management experience (including B2B)
- A relevant marketing degree
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively
- Excellent attention to detail, taking pride in getting the basics right
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- A curious, motivated approach and willingness to learn and collaborate with all our internal departments to hit deadlines and project needs
- A wider understanding of campaign planning, management and execution
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage client teams
- A passion for evidencing ROI from communications activity
