Senior Account Manager

We're helping NearSt hire a Senior Account Manager in London to own their biggest retail customers and report straight to the CEO. They're a team of eight with a plan to reach £10m in annual revenue with ten people - and AI agents doing the repetitive work.

If you've seen a product on Google marked as available in-store, there's a good chance NearSt is the plumbing behind it.

Salary

£50,000 - £60,000, plus stock options

Location

London, UK - hybrid, 3 core days in the office (Mon, Tue, Thu)

The company

NearSt's mission is to get people into high street shops. It connects retailers' in-store stock to the web, so shoppers using everything from Google to Deliveroo can find and buy from local stores in real time - for retailers from small independents to national chains.

The role

You'll own a portfolio of around twenty regional and national retailers, from multi-branch merchants to household-name chains, and be the person they trust to understand their business and prove the value NearSt delivers. You'll line-manage the Customer Support Specialist and shape how account management works here from the ground up.

What you'll do

  • Own relationships with NearSt's largest customers, from Marketing Director to Store Manager
  • Drive retention and growth - spot risk early and expand the strongest accounts
  • Run business reviews that build the value story from campaign data (year on year, like-for-like, incrementality)
  • Lead launches for new customers across their IT, EPOS and e-commerce teams, NearSt's engineers and Google
  • Build the agents, tools and workflows that run your accounts - if the tool doesn't exist yet, you build it

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
