Senior Account Manager - Point of Sale (POS) and In-Store Communications
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead our Point of Sale (POS) and in-store communications delivery for major retail clients. You will take full ownership of POS creative briefs from conception through in-store execution, managing complex timelines, stakeholder relationships, and cross-functional teams. With a strong background in POS creative production, print management, and campaign delivery, you will ensure all deliverables exceed client expectations and meet agreed SLAs. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of POS and in-store communications experience, a proactive problem-solving approach, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned briefs, managing client relationships from initial briefing through final in-store delivery
- Establish clear CPAs (Critical Path Agreements) and communicate project timelines, milestones, and dependencies with stakeholders
- Lead regular progress meetings with clients, artworkers and production partners; escalate risks and challenges proactively
- Manage the POS Hub and relevant client collaboration platforms to maintain transparency and stakeholder alignment
Project Management
- Interrogate briefs thoroughly with clients and production partners to ensure all requirements, specifications, and regulatory considerations are clarified before production commences
- Manage the complete POS production lifecycle: design handoff, print specification, approval cycles, print production, and in-store delivery coordination
- Coordinate with printers and suppliers, managing print quotes, timelines, and quality standards in line with agency best practices
- Log all briefs and deliverables into required tracking systems (Monday, Storyteq, Media Centre) accurately and timely to ensure robust audit trails and reporting
- Document and track all client approvals using agreed processes, capturing sign-off records systematically
- Monitor project health continuously, flagging delays, resource constraints, and quality concerns to the Senior Delivery Manager and relevant stakeholders
Internal ITG/Team Management
- Lead and mentor Project Managers reporting into this role; provide regular feedback, career development opportunities, and clear performance expectations
- Maintain close visibility with creative studios, production teams, and design partners through regular sync meetings
- Manage direct reports' leave, sick cover, and workload balancing to maintain consistent service delivery
- Support process improvement initiatives and drive adoption of improved ways of working across the PM function

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
