Role

A dedicated, driven, and highly accomplished sales professional with experience in regional sales & key account management and a proven track record in promoting highly design-led and sustainable commercial interior flooring products through a strong network of connections and relationships with Key Architects, Interior Designers, Fit-Out, Flooring Contractors, and End users.

To proactively promote an extensive range of Modular Carpet, LVT, and Entrance Flooring products via the commercial Architectural, Interior Design, Fit-Out, Flooring Contractor, and End User markets. Working autonomously to generate sales through established personal relationships, networking, and developing new opportunities through physical and digital contact & communications. Personally managing all aspects of day-to-day regional operations and also working closely with other members of the team both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Committed to delivering high standards of service to internal & external stakeholders, whilst increasing sales in line or above targets and business objectives
  • Continue to build on the existing success of the previous regional manager over the last 10 years, whilst also developing and expanding the current geographical area and customer base through strong business development skills and market experience
  • Manage and develop key accounts within core commercial marketplace specifiers
  • Research, identify, and develop new commercial marketplace opportunities
  • Knowledge and proficiency to represent the Milliken brand regionally
  • Ability to present design & sustainable-led solutions over and above price
  • Compile, present, and host lunch & learn educational sessions, including CPD’s
  • Develop customer relationships through entertaining and physical/digital networking

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience required

  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain valuable relationships with a wide range of customers and clients
  • Ability and experience to develop annual strategic regional plan, including market segment focus, measurable objectives and goals, plus monthly business forecasting and reporting.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years previous experience of selling within the commercial interior product specification/procurement market and existing contacts within Architectural, Interior Design, Fit-Out, Flooring Contractors
  • A driven sales professional with the ability to develop the existing account base and identify new market/customer opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial skills, including high personal motivation
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial office contractual routes to market and procurement process
  • Experience of presenting and dealing with all levels of specification, procurement, and contractual personnel
  • Natural networker, at ease with building relationships at all levels and identifying decision makers
  • Fully computer literate, including presentations and financial reporting.
  • Candidates should be within an easy commuting distance of the London postcodes covered.
  • Team player
  • Full driving license
