Hosted at Olympia in London, it showcases full-scale show homes and gardens, over 600 brands, and the latest trends supported by experts and celebrity guests. The show is backed by award-winning marketing, extensive media coverage, and TV partnerships, offering partners powerful visibility and bespoke experiential opportunities. Ideal Home Show is co-located with the Eat & Drink Festival, London’s largest indoor food and drink festival, and The Cake & Bake Show, the UK’s premier event for baking enthusiasts, providing diverse platforms for brands to engage with highly targeted and enthusiastic audiences.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Senior Account Manager role is based in Loughton and focuses on managing and growing commercial partnerships across the Ideal Home Show and its co-located events. The Senior Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of clients, build long-term relationships, and ensure partners receive maximum value from sponsorships, experiential packages, and exhibition participation.

  • Monitoring campaign performance against agreed objectives

The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining accurate sales pipelines, and collaborating with marketing, operations, and production teams to deliver high-quality brand experiences. The Senior Account Manager will also provide post-event reporting, gather client feedback, and use insights to refine offerings and drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated account management and client relationship skills, including managing key accounts, handling complex stakeholder needs, and delivering high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Experience in sales, sponsorship, or commercial partnerships, with the ability to create proposals, negotiate terms, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities, including coordinating multiple campaigns, managing timelines, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with confidence in leading client meetings, pitching ideas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Background in events, exhibitions, or experiential marketing is highly beneficial, particularly within consumer-facing or lifestyle sectors.
  • Analytical and reporting capabilities, with competence in tracking performance metrics, using CRM tools, and producing clear post-event evaluations.
  • Ability to work on-site in Loughton, demonstrate initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional and inclusive approach.
  • Relevant education or training in business, marketing, events management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
