Senior Account Manager (Remote, UK)

fulfilment.com | Remote (UK) | Full-time | Reports to the COO

About us

fulfilment.com is the marketplace that connects ecommerce brands with the right third-party logistics provider. We don’t run warehouses — we run the matching layer: 200+ vetted 3PLs across the UK, US and Europe, and a steady flow of brands looking for a fulfilment partner. Our clients are the 3PLs who use us to grow, and our job is to make that growth real and repeatable.

The role

You’ll own a portfolio of our most valuable 3PL clients — not as a support contact, but as the person accountable for whether those accounts retain, grow and stay profitable. Think portfolio manager rather than relationship manager.

That means running commercial conversations, not check-ins. Knowing your clients’ pipeline, conversion rates and economics better than they do. Spotting a problem two months before it becomes a cancellation. Having the harder conversation when the numbers say it’s needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll own

  • Net revenue retention across your book — retained, growing, profitable
  • Delivery against what each client has contracted for
  • The commercial relationship: renewals, expansion, pricing conversations, escalations
  • A data-led monthly growth review with each client
  • The standard for how senior account management is done here

What we’re looking for

  • A proven senior operator, not a step up for a good junior AM
  • Real commercial experience in B2B account management — you’ve carried a retention or revenue number and hit it
  • Comfort with data: you can read a client’s performance, build an argument from it and defend it in the room
  • The confidence to challenge a client and be respected for it. Being liked is a bonus, not the goal
  • Proactivity that doesn’t need managing. You find the problem, you bring the plan
  • Logistics, 3PL, ecommerce or marketplace experience is a strong advantage, but we’ll take commercial sharpness over sector knowledge
  • Comfortable working with US-based clients and their time zones

What this isn’t

This isn’t a passive, inbox-driven account role. If your instinct is to relay messages between client and business, this won’t suit you. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of a book of business and runs it like it’s theirs.

What we offer

  • A book that matters from day one. You’ll take our highest-value clients, not a starter portfolio. What you do with them shows up in the company’s numbers.
  • No layers. You report directly to our COO and work closely with the founder. Decisions get made in days, not quarters.
  • We reward based on the value you bring. Get results and you’ll see it.
  • An excellent long-term career opportunity. We’re growing, and we’d rather grow our senior people into bigger roles than hire over them.
  • An international client base. Around 60% of our provider network is in the US, so you’ll be running commercial relationships across markets, not just the UK.
  • 30 days’ holiday a year.
