Join a well-funded, award-winning British CleanTech scale-up that has developed a technology already being used by major organisations across the UK and internationally.
The Product
Our client has developed a battery and solar-powered transport refrigeration unit for refrigerated trucks and trailers.
Traditionally, refrigerated trailers rely on a separate diesel engine to keep goods cold while they're being transported.
This technology removes the need for that diesel engine, using battery power combined with integrated solar panels to provide the refrigeration needed to transport chilled and frozen goods.
For fleet operators, the impact is significant:
- Zero direct emissions from the refrigeration unit
- Up to 81% lower operating costs
- Removes diesel consumption from refrigeration
- Integrated solar helps extend battery operation
- Designed for real-world fleet operations
This gives major retailers, food producers and logistics companies a practical way to reduce operating costs and fleet emissions without compromising refrigeration performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
