Senior Account Manager
About Hunterlodge
Hunterlodge Advertising is an award-winning, full-service marketing agency delivering integrated campaigns across Higher Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Professional Services, and B2B.
We bring together strategy, insight, creative, media, performance, AI, content, and analytics to help our clients solve complex marketing challenges and deliver measurable growth.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Client Services team and take a leading role across some of our key client relationships.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced agency professional who combines brilliant client management with strong commercial thinking and a genuine understanding of modern marketing.
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of integrated accounts, building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and bringing together specialists from across Hunterlodge to deliver exceptional work.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be comfortable moving from a strategic client conversation to reviewing campaign performance, interrogating a media plan, shaping a brief, or making sure a complex project stays firmly on track.
Most importantly, you'll understand what makes a great agency/client relationship: being proactive, challenging when necessary, commercially aware, and relentlessly focused on delivering great work and measurable results.
What You'll Be Doing
Client Leadership
- Take day-to-day ownership of a portfolio of key client relationships.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's organisation, objectives, audiences, and commercial priorities.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, campaign reviews, and planning sessions.
- Be proactive in identifying challenges, opportunities, and areas where Hunterlodge can add further value.
- Provide strategic counsel rather than simply responding to briefs.
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of client service.
Integrated Campaign Leadership
- Lead integrated campaigns from initial brief and strategy through to delivery, optimisation, and evaluation.
- Bring together our Strategy, Media, Performance, Creative, AI Visibility, Content, and Analytics specialists around the client's objectives.
- Ensure briefs are clear, strategically focused, and actionable.
- Review strategies, campaign plans, budgets, and timelines before they reach the client.
- Maintain oversight of campaign performance and challenge teams to continually improve results.
- Ensure every campaign remains focused on agreed KPIs and measurable client outcomes.
- Anticipate potential issues and take ownership of resolving them quickly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
