Senior Account Manager | Shopper & Retail Marketing

πŸ“ Location: Leeds / Hybrid - in the office 2 days a week

If you love the world of retail and shopper marketing, enjoy building great client relationships and know how to turn ambitious ideas into successful campaigns, this could be right up your street.

We're working with a well-established Leeds agency that creates exciting, insight-led campaigns for some of the biggest names in FMCG and retail.

They're looking for a Senior Account Manager who can bring together clients, creatives and delivery teams, making sure great ideas become great work.

You'll take real ownership of your accounts, working closely with an Account Director while having the confidence and experience to lead client conversations, make decisions and keep everything moving.

It's a busy, varied role with plenty of responsibility, brilliant people around you and the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

What You'll Be Doing

  • βœ” Owning day-to-day client relationships, becoming a trusted partner who understands their business and challenges
  • βœ” Leading the delivery of integrated shopper and brand activation campaigns, from initial brief through to execution
  • βœ” Working closely with creative, digital and production teams to deliver work everyone's proud of
  • βœ” Keeping projects on track, managing timelines, budgets and expectations without compromising on quality
  • βœ” Supporting your Account Director with account development, spotting opportunities to grow relationships and deliver more value
  • βœ” Bringing fresh thinking to the table, particularly around retail, shopper behaviour and digital innovation
  • βœ” Providing guidance and support to junior colleagues, helping them develop and deliver their best work

What You'll Bring

  • 🎯 Experience in shopper marketing, retail activation or integrated campaigns, ideally gained in an agency environment
  • 🎯 Around 4+ years of relevant experience, with the confidence to manage clients and campaigns independently
  • 🎯 A good understanding of how brands connect with shoppers, both in-store and online
  • 🎯 Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines and priorities
  • 🎯 Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, preparing proposals and spotting growth opportunities
  • 🎯 Great communication skills, a collaborative approach and the confidence to challenge constructively when needed
