Account Manager | Furniture Dealer

London | Full-time | £45,000 base + commission | c.£80,000 OTE

About the Role

Furniture Dealer | Commercial Interiors | Workplace | Hospitality | Residential | A&D

One of the strongest furniture dealer opportunities in London.

We are working with a highly regarded, design-led furniture and lighting consultancy delivering some of the most interesting projects across workplace, hospitality, residential and leisure.

The business has an excellent reputation, strong relationships with leading architecture and interior design practices and a consistent flow of quality project opportunities. They are now looking for an experienced Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of clients, deliver projects and develop long-term commercial relationships. Importantly, this is not a role where you are expected to arrive and create everything from nothing.

There is already a strong client base, an established project pipeline and genuine opportunity to earn commission. For someone who performs well and manages their accounts properly, the commission structure is designed to be highly achievable.

The Role

This is a client-facing commercial role combining account management, furniture specification, sales and project ownership. You will work closely with architects, interior designers and end clients from the early stages of a brief through to specification, quotation, order and final delivery. The role is about understanding design intent, curating the right furniture and lighting solutions, managing the commercial side properly and making sure the client wants to work with you again. You will have genuine ownership of your accounts and the freedom to build long-term relationships rather than simply process transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of established client accounts
  • Building strong relationships with architects, interior designers and end clients
  • Identifying new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Developing furniture and lighting specifications
  • Producing quotations, proposals and client presentations
  • Curating products with a strong eye for design, quality and suitability
  • Advising clients on furniture brands, materials, finishes and applications
  • Taking responsibility for pricing, margin and commercial viability
  • Negotiating with clients and suppliers where required
  • Managing several live furniture projects simultaneously
  • Working across budgets, programmes and multiple stakeholders
  • Developing repeat and referral business
  • Maintaining a clear sales pipeline and account strategy
  • Working closely with project, operations and support teams through to delivery
  • Attending client meetings, showroom presentations and industry events

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Clients + Projects

You will work across a broad mix of sectors including:

  • Workplace
  • Hospitality
  • Residential
  • Leisure

Projects are delivered for established clients alongside leading architecture and interior design practices. This means you are joining a business where the infrastructure, relationships and opportunities already exist.

Your job is to make the most of them.

Salary + Commission

  • £45,000 base salary
  • c.£80,000 OTE at 100% of target
  • That equates to approximately £35,000 commission at target, with further upside for overachievement.

The important point is that this is a business with an established project pipeline and active client base.

This is not an inflated OTE built around an unrealistic new-business target. For an Account Manager who is commercially switched on, manages their relationships properly and converts the opportunities in front of them, commission should form a meaningful and achievable part of the package. There is genuine scope to earn beyond the stated OTE.

Why This One?

There are plenty of furniture dealer Account Manager jobs in London. This is one of the more interesting ones. You will be joining a respected, design-conscious business with:

  • Strong existing client relationships
  • A healthy pipeline of live projects
  • Access to excellent furniture and lighting brands
  • High-quality support and project infrastructure
  • Interesting projects across multiple sectors
  • Real autonomy over your accounts
  • A commission structure that genuinely rewards performance

This is a great platform for someone already working in the furniture industry who wants better clients, stronger projects, greater ownership, and considerably better earning potential.
