About the Role
Major Players is partnering with a reputable, independent B2B marketing agency to recruit a Senior Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global agency that is scaling fast and working with some of the most renowned brands in the B2B tech space. As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll lead strategic client relationships across a portfolio of key accounts, helping to deliver best-in-class events and campaigns that contribute to long-term agency growth and commercial success. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering high-impact B2B marketing and lead generation programmes, ensuring they align with client business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for key client accounts, ensuring alignment to business objectives and long-term value delivery.
- Be the escalation point for complex client challenges, managing difficult conversations and ensuring positive outcomes.
- Develop strategic account plans, driving growth, pipeline, and long-term partnership value.
- Oversee end-to-end programme and campaigns strategies, ensuring alignment to client goals and measurable ROI.
- Ensure best-in-class delivery of events and integrated marketing campaigns, continuously improving standards and driving best practices.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, new service offerings, and continuous improvement.
- Be responsible for commercial delivery and performance across your client portfolio, overseeing profitability and ensuring effective margin management.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, revenue recognition, and billing processes across the team.
- Work closely with business development leadership to drive growth across key accounts.
- Maintain deep expertise in client sectors, broader B2B trends, and agency offerings.
- Translate insights into strategic recommendations that drive client value and innovation.

Skills required:
- Proven experience leading accounts within a B2B marketing agency, ideally working with tech clients and on events.
- Strong commercial acumen including ownership of revenue and profitability management.
- Previous background delivering strategic, large-scale programmes of work including multi-channel campaigns and events.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in enterprise/technology focused organisations.
- Proficiency working with CRM systems, marketing automation tools and project management software such as Monday.com.
- Proven leadership experience, shaping long-term client strategies and influencing senior stakeholders.

Job Details
- Hours: Full time
- Salary: £48-54,000 depending on experience
- Office Location: Central East London
- Office requirements: 3 days per week in the office
