Role Overview
The Senior Account Manager plays a critical role in driving the growth of NEP Connects managed services connectivity, and media solutions portfolio, identifying, developing, and closing large, complex, and strategic customer opportunities. The role holder will work closely with NEP Connect customers to understand their end-to-end operational, technical, and business challenges, shaping scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that deliver long-term value.
The role requires strong leadership of cross-functional and virtual teams across the NEP Group, ensuring solutions meet both customer needs and NEP’s commercial and operational objectives.
Success will be measured through the delivery of sustainable, profitable growth, strong customer partnerships, and the expansion of NEP Connects strategic footprint across existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, driving long-term, sustainable revenue and margin growth
- Lead large, complex, and strategic commercial opportunities from qualification through to contract signature
- Meet or exceed annual targets for revenue, margin, and strategic deal milestones
- Develop and deliver solution-led sales of NEP Connect services, including managed services, media connectivity, cloud, IP, and hybrid workflows using market knowledge.
- Lead and coordinate RFP and RFI responses, proposals, and executive-level customer engagements
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior and executive customer stakeholders, aligning NEP Connect capabilities to long-term operational and transformation goals
- Develop and own strategic account and major deal plans, including pipeline development, risk management, and forecasting
- Collaborate across NEP Group businesses and global teams to deliver integrated, multi-service customer solutions
- Lead virtual bid teams, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, commercially viable, and operationally deliverable
- Navigate complex commercial negotiations, working closely with finance, legal, and technical teams to structure creative and compliant deal solutions
- Champion customer experience, service excellence, and effective contract lifecycle management
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and proactive briefing to senior management on key deals, risks, and opportunities
- Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships to support delivery excellence and long-term account success

What We're Looking For
- Strong strategic and commercial leadership capability, with the confidence to lead senior customer and internal stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly developed negotiation skills across pricing, commercial models, legal terms, and solution design
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability and commercial judgement
- Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously over long sales cycles
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organisation and leading virtual teams

Interests And Background
- Proven experience in senior account management, strategic sales, or major deals roles
- Track record of winning and closing large, complex, solution-led opportunities (typically 3–18 month sales cycles)
- Strong understanding of commercial models, pricing strategies, business cases, and risk management
- Experience negotiating non-standard contractual terms and bespoke solution designs
- Familiarity with the media, broadcast, and live production sectors, including IP, cloud, and remote delivery models
- Typically 5+ years’ experience in a senior commercial or major deals role
- Demonstrated success delivering growth beyond standard sales targets

- Working Hours: 9am – 5:30pm; Monday to Friday
