Role Summary
RareWine is at an exciting stage of its international growth, and we’re now looking to build out our UK sales team with experienced, entrepreneurial salespeople.
As Senior Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing sales across existing clients while actively developing new business across the UK trade and private client markets. You’ll have the freedom and autonomy to build your own client portfolio, develop long-term relationships and drive your own commercial success.
This is a predominantly field-based role, ideally suited to someone with an established wine & spirits network in London and the wider UK, who enjoys being out in the market, meeting clients and creating opportunities rather than simply managing an existing account base.
RareWine gives you access to an extensive international portfolio of fine and rare wines, with stock and expertise across our global business. You’ll work closely with colleagues in the UK and Denmark across Marketing, Product, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance and Customer Service, while playing an important role in developing RareWine’s UK presence.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow sales across an existing portfolio of trade and private clients.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and high-value customers.
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase share of wallet and introduce clients to new wines and services.
- Deliver a consistently high level of service, working closely with internal teams to meet customer needs.
- Maintain regular face-to-face contact with clients through meetings, tastings and events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
