About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to work alongside a Lead Partner on a global priority FTSE 100 account, helping to shape and execute the growth strategy. Our client is a blue-chip energy and resources business with a large global footprint, which requires the successful candidate to have experience managing complex, multi-market B2B relationships, ideally within energy, utilities, or industrials. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the account team and to work across the global PwC network to deepen relationships and drive both commercial and client experience strategy. You will have the opportunity to build client relationships, co-create solutions to solve important problems, and drive a distinctive client experience.
This role forms part of our UK Account Management team, focusing on the firm's priority clients. In this pivotal role, you will manage and nurture complex, sometimes multinational client accounts and relationships, driving client experience and commercial growth. You will lead the implementation of account management best practices, coordinate critical negotiations such as Master Service Agreements and rate cards, and coach diverse senior teams to progress opportunities and achieve sales performance. With a strong emphasis on pipeline management, you will advise on best-practice initiatives to accelerate and progress the client sales pipeline, supporting the wider sales performance of our priority client programme.
You will leverage your internal network, as well as PwC’s global network, to deliver exceptional client experiences and seamless service delivery to the client. This is a unique opportunity to work with our most important clients and make a significant impact in a competitive market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
