Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Type of Company

Healthcare technology and language services provider

Package

Hybrid and flexible working in Birmingham, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Everything You Need to Know About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a growing healthcare technology business helping NHS and wider health and social care teams communicate more effectively with patients across language barriers.

This is a commercially focused account management role with genuine ownership. You will manage a defined portfolio of NHS and public sector accounts, taking responsibility for retention, renewals, and revenue growth while building long-term partnerships.

You will spend your time actively working within accounts: identifying opportunities, challenging where appropriate, proposing solutions, and closing additional business. It would suit someone who has already grown existing accounts and wants the autonomy and support to do it properly.

You Will

  • Own a portfolio of accounts and take accountability for revenue retention and growth.
  • Build structured account plans that identify expansion opportunities across departments, product lines, and usage levels.
  • Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities across a portfolio of digital healthcare solutions.
  • Lead regular client business reviews that combine honest performance conversations with a forward-looking commercial agenda.
  • Manage the full renewal cycle, proactively identifying risk, building the case for continuation, and ensuring every contract receives appropriate attention.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues on account strategy, product launches, and cross-sell campaigns.
  • Support onboarding and product adoption as accounts expand, helping clients realize value quickly.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records covering pipelines, contacts, account plans, activity, and renewal timelines.
  • Act as the internal voice of your accounts, escalating risks early and following issues through to resolution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
