Turn connections into partnerships. Turn innovation into business.
At Consult Red, we help global media, broadband, and technology brands design, build, and launch connected, intelligent products - from next-generation video gateways and edge-AI platforms to advanced software architectures like RDK and prplOS. We’re growing fast in Europe and are looking for a Senior Account Manager / Account Director to own and grow a portfolio of existing customers across the UK, Western, and Northern Europe, specifically targeting the vibrant PayTV, media, and telecom ecosystem.
This is a role for someone who is a natural farmer - someone who thrives on deepening existing relationships, building structured account plans, spotting where the next opportunity sits within an account, and turning delivery success into expanded engagements. If you love video technology, enjoy navigating Tier-1 operator ecosystems, and know how to grow complex accounts over time, we'd love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning a portfolio of existing PayTV, Broadcast, Operator, and Media Delivery accounts, building deep, trusted relationships across each
- Developing and maintaining structured account plans that map stakeholders, identify whitespace, and set a clear roadmap for growth within each account
- Engaging with C-level decision-makers (CTOs, VPs of Engineering & Product, Heads of Department) to understand evolving roadmaps and position Consult Red's engineering capabilities against new needs
- Working closely with Delivery and Sales Engineering teams to ensure current engagements are running well, and to spot and shape opportunities for expansion
- Translating account insight into compelling commercial proposals - from opportunity identification and scoping to contract execution
- Representing Consult Red at major industry events, conferences (such as IBC, RDK Summit), and digital webinars to stay close to account priorities and industry direction
- Traveling frequently across the UK and Western/Northern Europe for strategic, in-person account meetings

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
