Senior Account Manager - Retail Marketing & POS

The Role

We're partnering with a growing marketing agency that specialises in delivering impactful retail marketing, POS, shopper marketing and brand activation campaigns for some of the UK's best-known consumer brands.

As Senior Account Manager, you'll take ownership of key client relationships, leading campaigns from initial brief through to final delivery. Working closely with creative, production and project teams, you'll ensure retail marketing initiatives are executed seamlessly while identifying opportunities to drive further value and growth across your accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced client services professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and enjoys bringing retail campaigns and in-store experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop relationships with a portfolio of retail and consumer brand clients
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact across multiple accounts
  • Manage the delivery of POS, retail marketing and shopper activation campaigns
  • Interpret client briefs and collaborate with Creative, Design and Production teams to deliver outstanding solutions
  • Oversee projects from concept through to installation and completion
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Present ideas, campaign updates and recommendations confidently to clients
  • Identify opportunities for account development and revenue growth
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards
  • Build a strong understanding of client objectives and market challenges to provide strategic support

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager within a marketing, creative, retail marketing, POS or integrated agency environment
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience managing campaigns from briefing through to implementation
  • Commercially minded with a track record of growing client accounts
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Desirable Experience

  • Retail Marketing, POS or Shopper Marketing experience
  • Brand Activation, Experiential or Field Marketing campaign exposure
  • Experience working with FMCG, Retail or Consumer brands
  • Knowledge of multi-channel campaign delivery across in-store and digital channels
