About Blue Cube Security
For over 25 years, Blue Cube Security has helped organisations protect themselves from cyber threats. We are a team that values trust, supports our clients, and takes pride in what we do. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team.
The Role
This role is focused on generating new business, including re-engaging a small number of dormant accounts and winning new customers. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be a proactive, target-driven sales professional with a strong new business mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Targets
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
- Contribute to wider team and company objectives.
New Business Development
- Identify and engage prospective customers through phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Research target organisations and identify key decision-makers.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities.
- Present Blue Cube's services and solutions to prospective customers.
- Work closely with the Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and convert new logo opportunities.

Account Management
- Manage a small portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Re-engage and develop dormant accounts to generate new revenue opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise account growth.
Vendor Relationships
- Develop a strong understanding of Blue Cube's core vendor portfolio.
- Achieve and maintain relevant vendor accreditations.
- Attend vendor events and build relationships with key vendor contacts.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
- Record customer interactions, activities, and outcomes.
- Ensure sales opportunities and forecasts are regularly updated.
Services & Technical Alignment
- Work closely with the technical and team to deliver the best outcomes for customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of Blue Cube's services and managed security offerings.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell relevant solutions and services.

Learning & Development
- Attend internal training sessions and vendor enablement programmes.
- Keep up to date with cybersecurity trends, vendor solutions, and industry best practices.
About You
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years' sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving commercial objectives.
- Driving licence required due to office location.
Desirable
- Experience working within a cybersecurity or IT reseller, MSP, or MSSP environment.
