Senior Account Manager – Capital Markets & Financial Services
Team Lewis, London, UK (Hybrid)
We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and commercially astute team player with an affinity for business and communications to join our Capital Markets division as a Senior Account Manager.
The Role
Your responsibilities will be split ~75% Capital Markets and 25% Financial Services corporate clients, working with high-profile companies including:
- The Gym Group Plc
- Fuller, Smith & Turner Plc
- McBride Plc
In this role, you’ll support communications programmes in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, judgment, and responsiveness are critical. You’ll engage with clients, manage events, marketing, and integrated campaigns while demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and energy.
Routine public company timelines may require occasional early starts, late working, or weekend availability.

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll deliver business-critical communications with core focus areas:

Client Account Management
- Maintain regular contact with clients, managing relationships and ensuring account satisfaction.
- Draft client-facing materials (press releases, statements, Q&As, messaging briefings) requiring minimal senior review.

Capital Markets & Financial Services Expertise
- Work across listed companies, IPOs, M&A, fundraising announcements and corporate governance (AGMs, CMDs).
- Handle Regulated News Service (RNS) announcements, approvals and escalation protocols with strong regulatory acumen.

Media & Analyst Relations
- Coordinate media coverage and City journalist/analyst engagement, ensuring confidence-building in communications.
- Support marketing, events and integrated campaigns.

New Business Support
- Contribute to pitches, RFPs, and client acquisition efforts.

Operational Excellence
- Prioritise deadlines, responsiveness and crisis management – particularly during results periods and news-sensitive moments.
- Demonstrate a collaborative approach that leads teams efficiently.
What You’ll Bring
We seek a professional with 5+ years in financial communications/PR, with strong Capital Markets experience (not mandatory but advantageous). Essential qualities include:

Specialised Knowledge
- Deep understanding of listed companies, Media Consents, Wolf Warrior PR, quids & notable characters and financial PR best practice.
- Exposure to Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters or similar tools helpful.

Technical Skills
- Excellent writing with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong numerical ability and media familiarity (olde-timer to digital media).

Soft Excellence
- Proactive, organised and fast-paced – adaptable to evolving priorities.
- Resilient and client-focused, achieving peak performance in high-pressure environments.
- Comfortable with occasional out-of-hours work for public reporting cycles.
