Role Profile

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a fast-paced commercial team, focusing on nurturing strategic customer relationships within the commercial sector. The role requires working closely with senior stakeholders to lead strategic development initiatives that deliver sustainable ICT impact, while maximising revenue across a broad range of solutions.

Job Title: Senior Account Manager – Commercial
Base Location: Reigate (Hybrid)
inTEC Brand: Sweethaven Commercial
Reports To: Director of Education
Employment Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Annual Leave: 21 days per annum
Salary: OTE £55,000 per annum
Conditions: UK travel / full clean driving licence required

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key commercial clients, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client goals and business growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close agreements to maximise profitability while meeting client-specific business and IT requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends and developments within the commercial sector to provide innovative solutions.
  • Track account performance and report regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage account budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, ensuring their needs and feedback are communicated internally.
  • Oversee successful project delivery with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Serve as an escalation point for high-severity issues, ensuring swift and effective resolutions.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, business development, or a related role, ideally within the commercial or IT sector.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience leading and overseeing account management teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred, not essential)
