The Role
We are currently hiring for a Senior Account Manager to lead a large, established schools FM contract based in Coleshill, covering 16/17 schools across PFI and non-PFI arrangements, including two contracts (BSF and PPP2) running in parallel.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will take full operational and commercial ownership of soft and hard FM plus caretaking services across the portfolio. You'll have an Operations Manager, Help Desk and two Performance Managers reporting directly to you, within a wider team of 103.
Responsibilities
- Operational and commercial ownership of a challenging, multi-site PFI/PPP2 contract
- Managing deductions and KPI performance across the contract
- Driving continuous, incremental improvement across services
- Improving communication and relationship management with schools and SPVs
- P&L accountability in excess of £5m per year

What We're Looking For
- Extensive operational FM management experience
- PFI operational management experience
- Good knowledge of statutory compliance and SFG20
- Technical awareness or relevant qualifications
- Proven P&L responsibility in excess of £5m per year
- Strong people management experience
- Clear understanding of core M&E principles
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts
- Strong communication skills, numerate and financially aware

Desirable
- Experience operating within an outsourced environment
- Awareness of TUPE and employment legislation
- Healthcare PFI / HTM experience
- Experience with PFI payment mechanisms and reporting
- Fire Safety Order competence
- Defects / DLP experience
Package
- £72,000 – £80,000
- Car allowance: £5,100
