The Role
Showbie is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager - EdTech SaaS Sales to drive customer retention, expansion, and recurring revenue growth across our existing customer base.
This is a remote role based in the United Kingdom, with occasional travel required for customer meetings, team days, or business needs.
This is a commercial sales role with responsibility for ARR, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), renewals, upsell, expansion, and accurate revenue forecasting. You will own a portfolio of customer accounts, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, manage renewal risk, and ensure customers continue to see long-term value from Showbie.
You will work with a diverse range of customers, including Multi-Academy Trusts, districts, and schools of all sizes, from SMB to Enterprise, both in the UK and globally.
You will need to be confident engaging with senior and C-level stakeholders within the EdTech sector, including leading customer meetings independently. This role requires the ability to manage strategic conversations, ask strong discovery questions, uncover commercial risk, and move renewal and expansion opportunities forward without needing senior support in every customer meeting.
This role is ideal for someone with strong SaaS account management experience within EdTech, who enjoys combining customer partnership with commercial ownership. You will be expected to manage opportunities confidently, use data to make informed decisions, and maintain a clear and accurate forecast.
Depending on performance and alignment, there may be an opportunity for this role to evolve into an Account Management Team Lead. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be expected to mentor the wider team through coaching, sharing best practices, and helping to raise the standard of commercial account management across the team.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Retention & Growth
- Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, driving renewals, expansion opportunities, seat growth, and product upsells.
- Take ownership of ARR, NRR, renewal, upsell, and growth targets across your account base.
- Build and execute account plans that identify risks, growth opportunities, stakeholder engagement strategies, and next steps.
- Proactively identify churn risks and create clear mitigation plans.
- Maintain accurate forecasting of renewals, upsell opportunities, and expansion pipeline.
- Lead commercial conversations with confidence, including pricing, procurement, renewal timelines, and negotiation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
